Community and Character

As part of our ongoing work to develop character and to improve our community, students have been undertaking daily litter picks both on school site and in the surrounding area.

Each morning, on rotation, each form group is assigned this work and heads out with pickers, protective clothing and black bags to collect and clear any rubbish. We have been closely focusing on “hard to reach” rubbish which can often be lodged deep into hedgerows and build up over time

We have been impressed with our students dedication and hard work in making our school and community areas, litter free.
