The Character Newsletter October 2025

As we reach the end of this first term, I wanted to take a moment to reflect on the fantastic start our students have made to the school year.
This has been a term full of achievement, both in the classroom and across our wider school community. Our students have shown real determination, kindness, and resilience, and I am proud to share that the number of Character Strengths awarded is at a record high. This is a powerful reflection of the respect, teamwork, and motivation our young people demonstrate every single day.

The progress being made on the Character Pathway has also been extremely impressive. Students across the school are working towards their Bronze, Silver, and Gold levels at an outstanding pace, showing their commitment to living out our school values consistently. Each step they take on this pathway reflects their character development and their role as ambassadors for our school community.

Beyond this, our students have taken part in exciting enrichment opportunities, community events, and new challenges that stretch and inspire them. Whether in lessons, clubs, or character activities, they continue to show what it means to be part of a caring and ambitious school.

I want to thank you for the ongoing support you give as parents and carers. Together, we are building a culture where every young person is encouraged to aim high, develop their character, and thrive as part of a supportive and aspirational community.
I wish you all a restful and enjoyable break, and I look forward to welcoming our students back for another successful term ahead.
