.CAREERS SESSIONS: Ready for next steps

In these sessions, Year 13 will be polishing their employability skills and focusing on their career readiness. This may look slightly different for each student, but will include:

• preparation for interviews and assessment centres
• learning about what support is available to adults including the National Careers Service and the DWP
• learning about disability support available while they might go through job and apprenticeship searches, but also while at university
• what happens on results day including processes and how to get support.
• information for students and parents about clearing
• continued access to one-to-one guidance

We then review intended destinations and any additional support that is needed.
